Freddie van Rensburg is an international evangelist and has been in the full time evangelistic ministry since the year 2000. He is married to his beautiful wife Karen, who is a tremendous support for him in the ministry. Together they have a daughter named Shiloh, which means God’s gift. After his salvation in 1995, he continued his work as an IT consultant until 1999 when he decided to pursue the calling of God in his life. He initially entered the ministry on a part time basis, having his own successful wrought iron company on the side in order to support himself financially. He completed his Bible College training 1999 – 2001 (3years).
During 1999 he first started to minister and preach in Zimbabwe and in Swaziland.
He then served under another evangelistic ministry, where he assisted with the launch of that ministry and acted as a Associate Director on the Board, Associate Evangelist, and National Manager from 2000 – 2006. (7 years).
In 2007 after clear direction from God, he launched out to start his own evangelistic ministry, Glocal Outreach, together with his wife, Karen. Since then he has preached the Gospel of Jesus Christ clearly to audiences from all ages and races from small groups to large gatherings. He preaches in churches, conferences, outreaches, youth Rallies, school outreaches and in mass crusades. He has seen multitudes coming to receive Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour in these meetings.
His ministry endeavours have given him the opportunity to travel to several countries around the world (Australia, South Africa, United States, Nigeria, Swaziland, Zimbabwe, Lesotho, Mozambique, Botswana, Zambia,).
He looks up to various mentors and role models in his life.
He was privileged to have had a personal relationship with Evangelist Reinhard Bonnke since the year 2004, whose crusades he has been able to attend. In 2007, he was invited to attend a Face 2 Face training meeting with Evangelist Bonnke in the USA. In 2012 he also attended and successfully completed the Reinhard Bonnke School of Evangelism.
He is also very honoured to have a personal relationship with Uncle Angus Buchan who also speaks into the life of Freddie as he has been involved in his mentorship program since the year 2010.
Glocal Outreach has since the year 2007 in the last number of years conducted 957 school outreaches and 13 mass crusades and numerous church meetings and have seen a total of 622 033 people making a decision to follow Jesus Christ as their Lord and saviour.
Evangelist Freddie is humbled by the fact that the lord choose to use him in such an extraordinary way and therefore he give God all the Glory, and all the Honour, Always.
